This place is simply GREAT! My first time in and I was treated exceptionally well and the food was beautifully prepared and very FRESH! I only had SUSHI but based on that I will be back for more! I don't write reviews at all but this place deserved one for sure. They went out of their way to make my visit enjoyable and they did just that! Disregard any past negative reviews, all places go through growing pains finding the right staff, training them and all of them learning to work together and bring the best product to the public. They did a wonderful job for my meal! Remember that for every great review they probably have ten more that don't write about their great experience! ~ Drew P

Julia is the bomb dot com!!!!!🫡 She took care of my family and I so VERY well! She was polite, well versed, professional, and quick as hell getting our order out to our table. I was pleased with the atmosphere also...but Julia made our night by being so charming and friendly! She was so empathetic to our situation with my children, and Julia was an absolute delight to be around that evening! Julia truly cheered up our situation and, even for the time spent there eating our meal, helped us to forget our woe's!! I tipped her well, but Julia sure did deserve MORE than I could ever monetarily hand to her!!! Thank you Julia and God bless you for being YOU! 🫶 ~ Holley W

Revisited Sushikin after the new menu change. The Chef took the time to come to our table and he explained the new menu. The Chef also remembered us and what we order each time we have visited. The owner also came to our table and thanked us for returning. The waitress Kerah is an awesome waitress, she is always very courteous and knowledgeable of the menu. All of the Chefs (Satto, Alex, & Terry) are always very courteous and does an awesome job preparing our Sushi correctly!!! We always spend $100.00 plus at every visit, and it is always well WORTH IT!!! WE LOVE ❤️❤️SUSHIKIN💯🥰🥰😋😋 ~ mickey l

I came in to take advantage of the lunch menu today and they did not disappoint! My waitress, Kerah, was extremely pleasant and personable. For majority of my visit I was the only one sitting down to eat, so the atmosphere was peaceful to say the least. I ordered the Girlfriend Roll + Crispy Crab Roll** and had the Tuna & Mango handroll on the side. 10/10. I have no complaints 😭. Not to mention…all of that for less than $30. ** If this is not the name of the roll, it’s absolutely something similar lol! ~ Amyre M

I’m from Longview and this place fell from heaven. First my daughter and I were wondering around Shreveport’s cuisine and l stumbled upon this lovely abode! To begin service was immaculate! Once I walked into the restaurant the ambiance was credible. We were directed to the sushi bar where though they were busy Amanda delivered menus and our drinks from the moment we sat. Then we were introduced to Blake! I had to accommodate my daughters pallet so she guided the service with her knowledge of the menus offering smiles while answering question. Completing our order taking by the way. Our sushi master Terry who was gracious, delightful, and kept my daughter engaged through this entire dinning experience introducing her to proteins to expand her pallet! Anyway here comes Suzanne in here with the kill smiling and stuff with delivery and prebussing of our plates on the sushi bar. Well, I was looking for Mexican lol but happy this place left very little room to disappoint from the ambiance to the kitchen! Thank you so much for engaging and being like no other! A very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere with gentle lighting and music makes this dinner experience feel laid back and a breathe of fresh air. The sushi bar experience watching them make rolls and other dishes right in front of you was unique and entertaining. The bubbly and friendly service made me and the rest of the party feel welcomed. Rolls came out fast and perfectly executed. Would absolutely return and absolutely recommend to sushi enjoyers. ~ Pierce G

I had an amazing experience at SushiKin, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Courtney! Her vibe matched the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant perfectly. She was attentive without being overbearing—I never had to look around for her because she was always there at just the right time. Suzanne was wonderful! Super friendly and fun. The bourbon blossom is unbelievably delicious! White snake roll 10/10!! We went back on 4/27/25 and wow!!! The newly added sushi bar looks beautiful!! Jason took such incredible care of us from behind the new bar. He recommended the Tuna Dejavu and it absolutely did not disappoint. Jason also made my boyfriend his first ever sushi roll and he ate every bite!! We laughed and had the best time!! ~ Heather F

One of the BEST sushi and Japanese food in Shreveport! Guaranteed by Native Asian Top-notch quality raw fishes, authentic taste and decorations. Awesome rolls, if you’re a salmon lover don’t miss the Salmon crunch roll and salmon sake sushi. The soup tastes authentic unlike usual Japanese places. The Hibachi is also very good. The service is amazing with friendly servers and the atmosphere is calm and cozy. My #1 go-to place in Shreveport! ~ Thanapol T

I am a huge sushi lover, we went for lunch and got spicy edamame, tofu, and tempura combination, so delicious. Our server, Chris, really made the experience so much better, he’s very attentive and funny. (and he has a really cool earring) I’d definitely request him going back, and will tell friends and family to request him. Overall, just a very nice, clean, and DELICIOUS experience. I’ve eaten there twice now and both times I had a really good experience. Great food. Really good service. They have stuff that no one else in town has like yakisoba, yakiudon, great bento boxes, ramen and everything else you could want. The only thing I can say is they need to step up their sauce game. The goyza dipping sauce is weak, and they don’t have hot chili oil, but otherwise it’s an amazing place. ~ Darrin C

I've been all over, ate sushi in multiple states! Hands down the very best I've ever had!! Sake bar is top notch!! Presentation is perfect! Kerah gave us a 10 star service the best server I've had in a long time! And the sushi masters that made our food had me feeling that I was in Japan having dinner! Love coming here. Food and service are always amazing. My daughter and I went tonight and had Kasey as our waitress and she was incredible. So sweet and so patient , my kiddo had questions about some of the items ans needed more time to decide and Kasey was very sweet and helpful. My server Keria (I hope I spelled that right) was so kind and made the BEST recommendations. I am not local and travel for work so I’m always prepared to be underwhelmed. Amanda is AMAZING—truly an asset to this fine restaurant. She is sweet, kind, and very personable. We were on a quest for hot sake, so we sat at the bar where Amanda took great care of us. Stopped in for lunch today. The server, Bradley, was energetic and helpful. The food was wonderful (I had the sashimi bento box). I really enjoyed their fried gyoza and the richer flavor of their salad dressing. The servings were much more than I could eat in a single sitting and they were extremely efficient (I was in and out in 30 minutes at the height of lunchtime). ~ V B

My husband and I tried @sushikin and grill for the first time tonight, our waitress was AMAZING, soup better than any other resturants we have had. We shared the chicken and steak hibachi, fried gyoza, I had the golden tiger sushi roll and my husband had the spicy Ramen and let me tell you, it was all fantastic. This place is absolutely delicious!! The specialty sushi rolls and bento box I ordered were better than anything I have had in the city. The dessert of green tea mochi was a refreshing and tasty treat. The waitress did not skip a beat and always checked to make sure everything was alright. Kerah, our server, was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful with recommendations. Stepped in for Sunday brunch and had an awesome time at the bar! The bartender, Amanda, was such a delight and her drink recommendations were spot on! You can’t miss with the Sake Mai Tai and Kin’s Old Fashioned. The brussel sprouts app and Red Crunch rolls were delicious! High recommendation. Not every selection is perfect, but what I really love is that the staff (at least that I've always had) is open and knowledgeable about the menu, and is reliable in recommending great options. The sushi I've had has always been stellar. The food can be slow, but that's not even a negative to me. ~ Ziggaby

High-quality sushi from friendly and professional chefs, with a Sake bar to boot. Definitely one of the best in Shreveport. Visited this place again and enjoyed some of the best sushi I've ever had. Super fresh and delicious. Went back for a third time. These guys don't miss. The Sushi Combo is easily some of the tastiest sushi I've ever had. ~ Lucas H
